Working principle of Straight wire drawing machine

Straight wire drawing machine is a commonly used metal processing equipment used to draw metal billets into fine wires. The working principle is as follows:
Blank preparation: Prepare metal blanks, usually circular or square cross-section blanks.
Blank feeding: Feed the blank into the working area of the Straight wire drawing machine through the feeding device.
Initial drawing: In the working area, the blank first passes through the initial drawing area. The initial pulling area is usually composed of one or more pairs of traction rollers, and the gap between the rollers gradually decreases. Through the rotation of the roller, the billet is pulled forward and subjected to lateral compression and stretching forces, gradually thinning it.
Middle pulling: After passing through the initial pulling area, the billet enters the middle pulling area. The middle pulling area is usually composed of one or more pairs of traction rollers, and the gap between the rollers is further reduced. Through the rotation of the roller, the billet continues to be pulled forward, while being subjected to greater lateral compression and tensile force, further thinning it.
Final drawing: After passing through the intermediate drawing area, the blank enters the final drawing area. The final pulling area is usually composed of one or more pairs of traction rollers, and the gap between the rollers is further reduced. Through the rotation of the roller, the billet continues to be pulled forward, while being subjected to greater lateral compression and stretching force, ultimately turning it into the desired fine wire.
Cooling and coiling: The drawn fine wire is cooled by a cooling device, and then rolled into a reel shape through the coiling device.
